Circles Which Remain

You will find this giant circular piece of old equipment nearby the Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum on Maui. Here's the directions in case you want to visit:

"The Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum is located in a historic former plantation superintendent's residence, originally built in 1902, at the intersection of Mokulele Highway (route 311/350) and Hansen Road, approximately 10 minutes from Kahului Airport."

This circular wheel is as beautiful as a constructed sculpture,...and quite fitting to enter into the VFXY theme of circles this week.

The heart carved into the ancient banyan tree at the entrance of the Maui Arts & Cultural Center is a mystery. This tree was transplanted here when the MACC was built, and at that time, the tree had already been visited by many lovers.
